Housing endpoint - distance from a location?

I see that the Housing endpoint has a param called “search_distance”, but it doesn’t have a param for the actual location to measure that distance from.

E.g. on craigslist’s site, it lets you search a given latitude/longitude and then you can choose the search_distance from that point.

Is it be possible to search by lat/lon?

Thanks for the response. gl is the entire region though, right? e.g. “newyork” is for the whole New York City area, including all boroughs. Craigslist lets you choose a starting point if you wanted to search within a particular area of the New York City region (most people would use this feature to search within a particular neighborhood, and not choose a distance from all of NYC (“newyork” gl)

Here’s an example URL which uses the lat/lon to search within an area of Queens, NY: https://newyork.craigslist.org/search/astoria-ny/apa?lat=40.7563&lon=-73.914&search_distance=1.2#search=1gallery0~0

Would it be possible to support the lat/lon params in the Housing endpoint?

Hi PicassoWork,

Search distance is used to define radius of a gl you have provided.
